SKPD Heads Obligated to Make Clear Planning

Jakarta Vice Governor Basuki T Purnama stressed that he will push ahead his ranks in the remaining three years time of his tenure. Thus, all work units (SKPD) are asked to make clear planning about the programs they about to work on.

“I only have three more years. That means these three years must be planned finished. For example, in 2015 your (SKPD) target is starting to build underpasses and flyovers. Or street vendors, for instance, in Cooperatives, Micro, Small and Medium Scale Enterprises and Trade (KUMKMP) Department, how many (street vendors) that you can coach,” he uttered, Friday (9/12).
According to Basuki, all SKPD heads must be able to detail every program that is being conducted. Thus, every end of year, their work programs will be collected.

In addition, Basuki cited as an example the Head of Jakarta Public Works Department, Manggas Rudi Siahaan, who is obligated to make a statement on going to repair TransJakarta bus lanes and install sheet piles on riverbanks as well as reservoir banks.
“All of their statements would be like that, thus all SKPD heads and department heads will be collected at the end of year,” he asserted.
